P-78 CORE OIL,
For Ferrous and Non Ferrous use. P-78 Core Oil can be used with different grades of sand to make any size and shape core. It is economical and gives excellent shake out, excellent hot strength and storage stability. It is also very easy to work, has a pleasant odor, low viscosity, does not stick, and has low gas evolution. 1% of P-78 Core Oil with selection of baking temperature gives extremely high tensile strength. Sold in 400 lb drums or 5 gal cans. |

PARASET CO2 SODIUM SILICATE BINDERS
Paraset binders are formulated to provide the foundries with the most efficient and economical binders using the CO2 process for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals Grades available
PARASET # 100 This binder is used where good collapsibility is a must.
PARASET # 200 This binder is recommended for the majority of operations which normally occur in the foundry.
PARASET # 300 This economical binder is used where strength is a must and collapsibility is not a major factor.
KENSLIP
KENSLIP is a fast drying, solvent-based parting which provides a thin transparent microfilm coating. KENSLIP is an economical liquid parting on the market for normal and high volume, and high speed molding operations. This parting eliminates friction, sand grains therefore compact to higher densities on the core box and pattern surfaces where it is most needed. KENSLIP in non-reactive on ferrous and non-ferrous patterns and core boxes. Wear and abrasion of patterns, plate and boxes is reduced or eliminated, resulting in longer production life. This parting repels water, thus preventing rust or warping . Cores and molds draw clean every time. No sticking sand. KENSLIP is sold in 5 gallon cans and 55 gallon drums, and is ready to use. However further economies for some applications can be achieved by thinning with Napthas, Mineral Spirits, etc… May be sprayed, dipped or brushed on. Spraying is recommended when not used with automatic machines. |

KENSET BINDERS
These sand binders have been developed to provide the foundry with a complete range of core and mold binders which cover all applications as self setting. Each grad had been tailored to provide the optimum in cost effectiveness for its specific characteristics. In keeping with current foundry technology and specifications these include, but are not limited to, tensile strength, compressive strength, setting time, percent nitrogen and combined water, amount of free formaldehyde, viscosity, sand flow ability bench life, etc.
These sand binders are to be used with acid catalyst. |

TSA CATALYST Toluenesulfonic Acid
TSA Catalyst initiates the reaction of KenSet binders to effect the cure; comes in different concentration to permit a quicker strip and higher tensile strength.
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES: Clear to yellow, organic, acidic solution Weight per gallon: 10 Lbs Low Water content Specific gravity-1.22-1.24
USES: Used as a catalyst with all kinds of furfuryl alcohol and no-bake binders
Preparation & Application: Ready to use
Percent of TSA Catalyst used depends upon the sand temperature, moisture in the sand and atmosphere.
ADVANTAGES: High tensile strength, Low freezing point, Reduces odor level Sold in quantity of 5 gal cans, 55 gal drums and Mini Tanks. Call for pricing and additional information. |

MOLD SEAL
F-405 MOLD SEAL is a strong flexible, custom sealant in ready to use 30” lengths. It is an inert non-toxic compound with unlimited shelf -life. Beads maintain their uniform dimensions and never become dry, hard or brittle, F-405 has been especially formulated and engineered to quickly and efficiently seal the parting line between cope and drag, preventing “run outs.”
Diameters that are available in ready to use 30” lengths
1/8” 3/16” 1/4” 3/8” 1/2” 5/8” 3/4”
Sold by the carton. Call or E-mail for pricing
Note: The metal thickness of inaccessible areas of a mold can be accurately determined by placing a formed ball of F-405 in the spot in question. Close and open the mold. The thickness of the compressed ball will indicate the metal thickness at this point. |

KLEEN STRYP
Kleen Stryp the green sand parting. This parting’s high flash and low odor make it the choice for the safety and odor conscious foundry. Sold in 5 gallon cans or 55 gal drums. |

FLUX & DEGASSERS
# 711 Exothermic Flux:
General purpose exothermic flux used where dross must be kept hot for some time, or under cold conditions. This flux is primarily formulated for use in ladles, or crucible melting operations. It acts both as a cover against molten oxidation and as a means of removing aluminum and other metallic oxides. Sold in 125 lb kegs and 500 lb drums
# 755 Degasser
The Degasser promotes rapid degassing and / or hydrogen removal, especially alloys requiring no sodium. Degassing action occurs at a gradual rate to minimize smoke. This degasser contains the highest possible level of active ingredients. This degasser is reactive at a minimum term of 1200 F so that it is effective when casting cold metal as well as normal temperatures. This 4 oz. tablet is recommended for crucible and reverb use. Sold as 4 oz. Tablets in 45 lb cartons. |

NON SILICA DRY PARTING
Non Silica Parting is used to dust patterns for easy release of molds. Usually applied with parting bags. A White, non-Silica parting containing less than 1/2% to 1% free Silica. Non Silica dry parting is a non-toxic and an environmentally acceptable parting. It is formulated so that it blows off uniformly, and yet waterproofs so that mold moisture does not wet or depreciate the parting characteristics.
