FELT ASPHALT SHOES are made with heavy gauge galvanized steel sole plates and heel cups; plated steel fittings and steel rivets. These durable felt soles will retain oil longer, wear better, and prevent sticking.

WOODEN ASPHALT SHOES are just as sturdy, made from 3/4” AC plywood.  Please see picture to the right.

 

The extra thick soles on both styles act as thermal barriers, and the adjustable “quick click” buckles and heavy-duty nylon straps can be cinched tight for better shoe fit and control, and less chance of tripping.
