DESCRIPTION:

 

Clay Graphite Crucibles are ceramic bonded. The smaller sizes are typically used to melt precious metals and the larger sizes are suitable for both ferrous and non ferrous alloys.

APPLICATIONS:

 

Clay Graphite are used in fuel and medium/high frequency induction furnaces

TYPICAL METAL CASTING TEMPERATURE:

 

1562°F—2912°F ●  850°C —1600°C

 

PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS

 

· Clean melting

· Good thermal conductivity

· Good resistance to chemical corrosion
